Privacy, terms and cookies

Builsy is run by Eylon Koret. It is an independent service, not a Reichman University product, and does not act on the university’s behalf.

• Account information: your email address and sign-in details.
• Profile information: your name, headline and description, photo, skills, interests, availability, links you choose to add, and your preference for how we address you in Hebrew.
• Campus information: your school, year of study, program, days on campus, clubs, and whether your Reichman email has been verified.
• Activity on Builsy: projects, join requests and your replies, sprints and updates, Spaces, event registrations, and invitations.
• GitHub: if you choose to sign in with GitHub or connect it to your profile, we receive the information needed for that feature. If you import projects, we receive your username and details of the public repositories you choose to import. The temporary access token lets us read this information and is not saved in Builsy’s database.
• Technical information: cookies and browser storage, along with basic server logs such as your IP address and browser type, for operating and securing the service.

We use information to run Builsy, show profiles and projects according to their visibility settings and access permissions, manage join requests and sprints, verify campus membership, send updates, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

There is no legal obligation to provide information to Builsy. You need an email address to create an account. To finish setting up your profile, you also need to provide your name, choose an intent, select at least one skill and one interest, and tell us your availability. You cannot complete sign-up without these details.

Other details, such as campus information, links, and project information, are optional. Anything you add may be shown according to the relevant visibility settings.

Access depends on the type of information and its visibility settings. Projects set to public and profile details you choose to display may also be visible to visitors without an account. Information intended for the campus community may be visible to verified community members.

Join requests and team activity may be visible only to people involved in the relevant project or Space. Space organizers can see their members and projects submitted to the Space. Your email address is not shown to other users on your profile.

We use outside providers to operate the service. They may process information as needed to provide their services:

• Supabase: database, sign-in, and image storage.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Resend: sending service emails.
• Cloudflare: domain management and forwarding messages sent to our privacy address.
• Microsoft: if you choose to sign in with your university account.
• Google: if you choose Google sign-in. Gmail may process messages sent to our privacy address.
• GitHub: if you choose GitHub sign-in or import public repositories.

Some providers may process or store information outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States. We transfer information to providers in line with Israeli legal requirements and our agreements with them. Contact us for more information about a provider or the safeguards that apply to a transfer.

We keep information while your account is active. You can ask us to close your account and delete your information by contacting privacy@builsy.com. We aim to remove information from active systems within 30 days after receiving a request we can verify.

Copies in backups may remain until they are deleted under the providers’ retention schedules. Content you shared in another team’s project may remain in the project history. Where possible, we will remove its link to your profile after your account is deleted.

Under Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, you can ask to review personal information about you held in a database. If information is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or out of date, you can ask for it to be corrected or deleted, as provided by law.

You can also ask us to close your account and delete information through our service process. This is separate from the rights the law gives you. You can turn off nonessential emails in settings.

For privacy requests, contact privacy@builsy.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Privacy Protection Authority.

We use access permissions and security measures to limit access according to each person’s role and authorization. Connections to the site are encrypted in transit. Protection for stored and backed-up information also depends on our providers’ safeguards and settings. No online service can guarantee complete security. If a security incident occurs, we will take action and provide notices as required by law.

The service is for students and people aged 18 and over.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page. We'll announce material changes on the site or by email.

Builsy is an independent community where students find projects, join teams and work together in 14-day sprints. The service is run by Eylon Koret and is not officially affiliated with Reichman University. Using the service means you accept these terms.

• You must be 18 or older.
• Sign-up is open to students with a Reichman email and to people who were invited. We may approve or decline a sign-up.
• One account per person, with accurate details. You're responsible for keeping access to your account safe.

The service is still being built. Some features may change, disappear or not work as expected, and we don't promise uninterrupted availability.

What you write and upload stays yours. When you post content on the service, you give us permission to show, store and distribute it within the service, according to the visibility you choose, so the service can work. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for what has already been shared with others, such as an update in a team's sprint.

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post other people's confidential information or content you don't have the right to use.

Builsy connects people but isn't a party to agreements between them. Ownership of a project's ideas, code and results is decided between its team members, and we recommend putting it in writing at the start. We don't promise that you'll find a team, that a request will be accepted, or that a project will succeed.

Space organizers are responsible for their Space and for who joins it. The “Verified by Builsy” label means we checked who runs the Space, not that we recommend it or that the university or the Student Union approves it.

• Harassing, threatening or hurting others.
• Impersonating another person, club or organization.
• Sending spam, ads or commercial recruiting messages.
• Collecting information about other users, by hand or with automated tools.
• Harming the service, bypassing access limits, or trying to access information that isn't yours.
• Posting illegal, abusive or misleading content.

All rights in the service are reserved to Eylon Koret, including the code, the design, the Builsy name and the logo. Don't copy, reproduce or use them without written permission.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, whoever runs Builsy is not liable for indirect or consequential damage caused by using the service, by other users' content, or by connections made through it.

You can stop using the service and ask to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and in serious cases without prior notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of the page. We'll announce material changes on the site or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
