Accessibility statement

We want the site to be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. It was built to Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA, and to Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

What we've done

  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard, and every page starts with a “Skip to content” link.
  • Headings and labels that screen readers can read, and text alternatives for graphic elements.
  • Color contrast that meets level AA.
  • Full support for right-to-left Hebrew and for English, and people's own text is shown in the direction of the language it's written in.
  • The site works on phones and computers, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
  • If you've set your browser to reduce motion, animations are kept to a minimum.

Known limitations

  • Images that people upload, such as profile photos and project covers, are shown without a detailed description.
  • Content that comes from GitHub is shown as is and may not meet every guideline.

We keep testing the site and fixing what we find.

Events on campus

Builsy events take place on the Reichman University campus. For questions about a venue's accessibility before an event, write to us and we'll check.
